• What I should have said before Thanksgiving dinner, yesterday, but never gave it the chance…
    (in no particular order)
  • I am Thankful for:

-The 5 of us all got together for a fabulous turkey dinner.
-There is a (new) roof over our head, and no gutters!
-The bills are paid, no bounced checks.
-Our health is good. Minimal to no pain.
-Our three children are doing great in college(2) and high school (1), and seem to be on a direction/path that fits each.
-My wife and I still love and care for each other.
-Business is good, the phone rings every day.
    -Our patients trust us.
-Our employees care about their work and patients.
-I work with 5 talented Doctors and their Nursing staff.  Everybody’s on time, and prepared!
-I still want to and continue to work full time, 5 days per week.
-Nobody got in trouble with the law.
-Everybody seemed kind to each other. No fights.
-There were no serious injury, trauma, or disease.
-Our friends, family, employees and church folks look out for us, help us in need, and check on us when “hard times” hit.
-Our cars all run and are safe.
-I’ve taken over 3800 pictures on my IPhone since January.
-We have insurance in case in case in case the “bus” hits us.
-The sun gets us up every day and gives us another chance.
-No hard drives or data crashed/was lost.
-Nobody got mad at each other.
-We took at least a week of vacation.
-I have a job that still interests me, I continue to go to school, teach, and have a hobby that distracts me from it all.
-I have students/past employees that ask me to write them a reference letter.
-I have rekindled a lot of old friendships on social media and read and laughed at a lot of online funny jokes.
-Although I live in an (often) chaotic and voluminous paperwork mess, I can still remember where everything is…. well, maybe… HaHa.   Heh, ya gotta laugh!
  • This can go on “forever”, if you think about all the things that actually WENT RIGHT, this year…I just pray to God that I will not get bogged down on the things that CAN go wrong.
    Happy (day after) Thanksgiving…
