Dr. Rice earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky and completed her residency in Anesthesiology at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA and her pediatric Anesthesia fellowship at the Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, DC. She became Board Certified in Anesthesiology in 1980, and recently became Board Certified in the newly created American Board of Pediatric Anesthesiology in 2014.

She has been a professor in three universities and lectures internationally in Pediatric Anesthesiology.  Linda is also married to an Anesthesiologist who is also a pilot.
